Developer website with project CMS and performance tracking for DFK Nord AG
Starting point: 60 real estate projects, 100+ employees, one central platform
DFK Nord AG is a real estate developer that builds, documents and sells or rents properties to customers. More than 60 large projects were running in parallel, maintained by over 100 employees and served across different branch-office pages. The existing website could not keep up: projects could not be managed centrally, individual content for different user groups was missing, and lead generation was not scaling with the business. On top of that, an extensive Bau-Tagebuch (construction diary) database with photos and videos documenting each project needed to be made editorially accessible.
Headless architecture with Sanity import and performance-tracking bridge
We rebuilt the complete website as a headless system on Sanity, Next.js and the Vercel edge network, migrated the construction-diary database directly into the CMS via the Sanity import plugin, and installed the tracking cleanly in coordination with the contracted performance marketing agency. Specifically, we delivered:
- Central project CMS for 60+ properties. All developer projects maintained in Sanity, served individually to 100+ employees and branch-office pages.
- Bulk import of construction diaries. Years of project-documentation photos and videos migrated via the Sanity import plugin, no double-entry work for the team.
- Performance-tracking bridge. Google Tag Manager, Facebook Pixel and Google Analytics installed cleanly and coordinated with the external performance marketing agency.
- Scalable lead landing page. Purpose-built for lead generation, now delivering over 200 inquiries per month.
- Vercel edge delivery via CDN. Large image and video assets from the construction diaries load fast globally, even on mobile.
- Clean design and content separation. Evelan delivers the design system; the DFK team manages projects, media and texts directly in Sanity.
